Artist Biography
Zanne Hanna is an independent artist, songwriter, and producer. She is a vocalist and accompanies herself with acoustic and electric guitar. She infuses her live performances with songs from singer/songwriter, pop, and folk artists and her original music of similar influences. Her voice can be as light as a feather or as heavy as an anchor, connecting to the raw emotion of everything she sings.
In 2024, Zanne Hanna founded her own record label and publishing company, Heart Wells Records and Publishing LLC. She records, produces, and mixes her music from her DIY bedroom studio for release on all streaming platforms. Her latest release, "I Know Why (feat. Zeses)" showcases her expert vocal production skills. Zanne worked in Los Angeles for two years after graduating from Berklee College of Music with honors in 2020. There she spent time in many recording studios including the Village Studios in Santa Monica working as a studio runner. Later she became an assistant sound editor for Boom Box Post, supporting her team in designing sound for animated TV shows. During this time, she created the soundtrack for the award-winning short film "Only Business” and led the project’s audio post-production.
In Boston, she earned a dual degree in Music Production and Engineering and Electronic Production and Design. In her spare time, Zanne designs seashell crystal jewelry as Heart Wells Designs and writes poetry and blog posts for her Substack newsletter.
